11 Aug Get Organized for Back to School
It’s hard to believe that it’s time to start another school year! Whether you’re a student, parent or teacher, here are some resources to help you get organized for back to school:
1) Organize! – This bookazine is on shelves at Barnes & Noble and is loaded with tips and advice given by experts from across the country. (Look for my tips on pages 36, 44 and 45.) For details about the magazine, visit This American Home’s website. View the PDF excerpt here: Organize Magazine – Back to School – Aug 2014.
2) Clutter Diet – Get personalized organizing help from six Certified Professional Organizers – all from the comfort of your computer. Plus, be sure to check out the wealth of information in the tutorials, articles and podcasts. Sign up for your free two-week trial here (includes the 7-Day Quickstart; no coupon or code is necessary).
3) Less Stress for Teachers – My book has been a hot seller for the last couple of years, but if your favorite teacher doesn’t have a copy yet, you can find it in paperback, Kindle, iPad or Nook versions at www.LessStressForTeachers.com.
4) GoodwillSA Back to School Event – On Saturday, August 16, 2014, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Goodwill’s Bulverde Road store, join us for free back to school workshops! I’ll present organizing tips to parents and teachers. Pamela Lutrell will be giving back to school fashion tips. Miss Nikki the Literature Lady and her canine companion Readmore will also provide wonderful story time for the kiddos. Did I mention that this event is completely free?! By the way, if you’ve got any clutter burning a hole at home, bring it with you to donate. And while you’re in the store, check out Goodwill’s back to school specials. (I’ll be wearing a suit I purchased from Goodwill!!) Whether you donate or shop, you’ll be helping to support educational job training programs in San Antonio. Get details here.
Enjoy these resources and have fun preparing for going back to school!
