Organizing and productivity expert Helene Segura helps stressed out women, entrepreneurs and teachers regain control of their chaotic living and working spaces by teaching clients how to understand their core issues causing disorganization and thereby prevent it in the future. She is a Certified Professional Organizer® and has provided coaching for clients as varied as authors, attorneys, physicians, artists, students, educators, domestic engineers and business owners. As the owner of LivingOrder® San Antonio, Helene also conducts informative organizing workshops for larger groups such as non-profits, schools, and businesses, and served on the trailblazing team providing organizing help online at The Clutter Diet for its entire 11-year run. She has been a featured organizing expert in publications such as Woman’s Day Magazine, as well as on Fox, CBS, and NBC affiliates. Helene is the author of Less Stress for Teachers: More Time & An Organized Classroom, as well as ROAD MAP to Get Organized: Discover Your Thinking, Learning and Working Styles to Get Your Life Back on Track. In 2016, New World Library published her third book, The Inefficiency Assassin: Time Management Tactics for Working Smarter, Not Longer.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, a former soccer player for Texas A&M, and an avid traveler, her wide variety of life experiences and exposure to cultures around the world allow her to offer unique insight and assistance to her clients. As an educator in the San Antonio area since 1993, Helene has instructed children and adults about the art of organization and continues to work with various school districts. She has overseen the design and construction of custom-built homes and has applied Feng Shui principles in decorating. She has personally detailed the preparation, staging, and sale of nearly a dozen houses. After over a decade of teaching and then over another decade as a small business owner, her specialties include streamlining, downsizing, paper management, and efficient living and working. Her background in education allows her to pass these skills on to her clients.

Helene earned her Bachelors degree at Texas A&M University and her Masters degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Back in 2009, she was one of the first professional organizers in South Texas to earn the prestigious CPO® designation. She holds teacher and mid-management certifications from the state of Texas and has earned Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers and Teacher of the Year honors. Helene is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and its virtual chapter, NAPO-VC. She was one of the founding members as Director of Communications and Technology for NAPO San Antonio. She served on the Steering Committee of and is a National Trainer for NAPO’s Quantum Leap program through which she volunteers at local non-profits. Helene served on the Board of Directors for WELEAD, the local chapter of the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE), from 2010 – 2014. She also served as the President of the international Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (BCPO) from 2013 – 2016. She currently serves as the Treasurer of the Austin chapter of the National Speakers Association. (Alas, there is no NSA chapter in San Antonio.)
