There are many steps you need to take, but one of my favorite travel tips may seem a little odd: learn about the destination. Whenever we are planning our next adventure, we load up on movies that were filmed in the country to which we’re headed. We look for sites and restaurants that we might be interested in experiencing. We also listen to the language so that it won’t be completely foreign to us when we arrive.
